The AFC U-23 Asian Cup is a biennial international youth football championship organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for men’s under-23 national teams of Asia. The tournament, previously known as the AFC Youth Championship and the AFC U-23 Championship, is considered a platform for the region’s top young football talent to showcase their skills and gain valuable international experience.
The 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup is the 6th edition of the tournament, and it is the first time it is being played as an under-23 tournament. The competition will be held in Qatar, from 16 April to 03 May 2024, and will feature 16 teams from across Asia.

Format and rules
The tournament will follow a group-stage-and-knockout format. The top two teams from each group will advance to Semi-finals.
